Year 2 for Yonex at the Australian Open.

Yonex is excited to embark upon its second year as Official Stringer of the Australian Open. On its first year stringing for the tournament, the Yonex Stringing Team carried out a record 5,292 restrings—111% of the 2015 total—setting a new record for amount of restrings done at the tournament. Among other records, the busiest day of the tournament saw the team perform 544 restrings—the most ever in a single day at the Australian Open. This level of speed and accuracy is built on the team’s extensive experience, which includes stringing at the Beijing, London and Rio Olympics, along with a great number of other events around the world. Each and every technician on the Yonex Stringing Team is devoted to providing top-level stringing to support the world’s best, working from the early hours of the morning to late at night to do so. In addition to keeping players’ racquets properly strung, the team also devotes itself to keeping players in the know about their strings based on their great experience and knowledge.
